1. like 的基本用法
①介词: 像…(一样),似…(一样)
The tall treestands by the gate, like a soldier guarding the schoolyard.
这棵屹立在门口的高大的树，像士兵一样保卫着我们的学校。
She's wearing a dress like mine.
她穿的连衣裙和我的相似。
He ran like the wind(= very fast) .
他跑得飞快。
You do it like this.
你照这样做。
2.介词like 的其它用法
①与系动词be, look, sound连用
be like 像……；跟……一样
look like 看起来像……
sound like 听起来像……
What is he like? 他是怎么样的一个人？
It looks like rain. 好像要下雨了。
The little girl looks like her father.
那个小姑娘看起来像她的父亲。
He sounds like a good father.
他听起来像个好父亲。
② feel like后接Ving形式、代词或名词，意为"想要做某事"。如：
Do you feel like having a rest?
你想休息吗？
We'll go for a walk if you feel like it.
如果你想散步，我们就去吧。
③句式: It is ( just ) like sb to do ... 就是这个样子，符合某人的特点，这正是...的一贯做法。
It was just like him to leave the work to us.
It`s just like her to think others before thinking of herself.
这很像她,考虑自己之前，先考虑别人。
3. like 的其它用法
like还可做动词,名词等
①like做动词,意思是“喜欢”，可跟名词，代词，不定式或动名词。如：
She likes children.
她喜欢孩子。
All of us liked her very much.
我们大家都很喜欢她。
I like to visit him as often as possible.
我喜欢尽可能多地去拜访他。
He likes getting up early.
他喜欢早起。
I would like to have a word with you.
我想同你说句话。
② like做名词,意思是“喜好,爱好,类似的人(或物),种类,类型 ”，
We all have different likes and dislikes .
我们各有不同的好恶。
jazz, rock and the like (= similar types ofmusic)
爵士乐、摇滚乐以及诸如此类的音乐
You're not comparing like with like.
你比较的不是同类的东西。
She didn't want to associate with the likes of me.
